Product Description Intended for people at great distances from the transmitters, the DB8 is a powerful multi-directional HD antenna. In fact, its 15.8dB gain make it one of the most powerful multi-directional antennas available. The bow tie design of the DB8 uses triangular elements instead of rods to greatly increase the bandwidth allowing it to cover the entire UHF band. Additionally, the mesh reflector of the bow tie is more efficient than a rod reflector, is lower in weight, and provides less wind resistance for greater performance and durability. This DB8 is the ideal antenna for use in locations that can pull long range signals from various directions and offers an attractive alternative to using a directional antenna mounted on a rotator.

Comment:
i bought this antenna to replace a uhf/vhf. even with a booster it worked no better. i rate it a zero. i am 50 miles from the transmitters and i only
got two channels--same as old antenna. i hope i can get a refund. this is an expensive coat hanger!
Comment:
This works well. I am 40 miles from tower and can pull in a good signal. I would buy this again. Instructions for set up could be better.

Comment:
Regular antennas generated very poor signal to my TV. Once I switch to use Antennas Direct DB8, it improves the signal to my TV. Now, I could see more channels than before. This is a very good product! Plus, fast shipping! A+++

Pros:
Does a great job receiving signals (successfully gets HD signals from Chicago 44 miles away even though it is the attic).
Cons:
Is more sensitive to direction that one would think for a "multi-directional" antenna. I found that moving the antenna less than 5 degrees oftentimes caused a channel to fade in or out.
